The Journal of Erie Studies – Moxie & Mortar: The Woman’s Club of Erie and its Role in the History of Local Women. Authored by historian, Melinda Meyer, and organizational psychologist, writer and consultant, David Frew, this special edition of the Journal of Erie Studies was produced in time for the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote.
Glass Cutting Board featuring artist James E. Sabol’s pen & ink drawing of the former Winifred and Davenport Galbraith Mansion.
Cat’s Meow – miniature wooden replica of the historic Club House.
Women’s Right to Vote 100th Anniversary Commemorative Bracelet – A specialty bracelet created by Relish contains a sunflower medallion (a symbol of the Suffrage cause adopted by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony) and three Swarovski Crystals–one each of purple, white and gold (the colors of the American Suffrage movement). The use of gold goes back to 1867 when Kansas was considering passage of a state Suffrage referendum. Purple stands for the royal blood that flows in the veins of every Suffragette, the instinct of freedom and dignity…white stands for purity in private and public life.
